Fire Training Academy

BlueScope Construction provided design-build services for a new fire training facility for the District of Columbia Fire and Emergency Medical Services department. The requirements of the facility were to provide space for training, both in open classroom layout and in computer-enhanced training classrooms.

This state of the art training facility better equips the Washington DC fire department with the most current methods of fire fighting and life-saving procedures.

The facility exterior features both concrete panels and a metal wall system. The metal wall system and standing seam roof system were manufactured by BlueScope Buildings, the parent company of BlueScope Construction.
